ATTEND TAX LEVY BUDGET HEARINGS AND OTHER MEETINGS AS FOLLOWS:
2nd & 4th Mondays    7 PM.    Administration Bldg. board room, 420 South Washington Street.
You can park in parking lot.  Walk in and sign up on a form to speak and give it to the secretary.  Prior to a meeting or at meeting, ask clerk, secretary, or board member for copies of agenda and/or documentation pertinent to your concerns. Meeting agendas are in the Papillion Times on the Thursday before the meeting.

The FY 1999-2000 Papillion-La Vista Schools property tax levy is $1.274853 per $100 of valuation.
The FY 2000-2001 Papillion-La Vista Schools property tax levy is $1.2936 per $100 of valuation.  The owner of a $100,000
home that increased in valuation to $107,000 paid about $110 more in taxes.  The district budget rose about 8.4%, from $49.9 million to $54.1 million.
The FY 2001-2002 Papillion-La Vista Schools property tax levy is $1.275843 per $100 of valuation.  The owner of a $100,000 home paid about $1,276 in property tax, a 30c drop, not calculating the valuation increase.  The school board unanimously voted to break the state tax lid, costing the $100,000 homeowner $48.  The general fund budget rose by 6.68%, to $57.8 million.
The FY 2002-2003 Papillion-La Vista Schools property tax levy is $1.263802 per $100 of valuation.
The FY 2003-2004 Papillion-La Vista Schools property tax levy is $1.374919 per $100 of valuation.
The FY 2004-2005 Papillion-La Vista Schools property tax levy is $1.28996 per $100 of valuation.  The general fund budget increased by 6.5%.
