In cathouses, brothels, and dens of prostitution around the world, the usual scenario sees customers of services within pay their money and partake of their particular pleasures, services offered by the wench of choice.  Nebraska citizens pay taxes levied by our state legislature, receive state services, and every 4 years vote for their state senator of choice.  The similarity is close, except that cathouse customers get some “whoopee” for their money.  Nebraska taxpayers just get screwed!!  

In 600 B.C., Aesop said of politicians, “We hang the petty thieves, but we appoint the great ones to public office.”  Aesop must have been a visionary to have foreseen our Legislature.
