6-18-13: Voted to add $500,000 to Public Properties Dept. FY 2013-14 budget.
6-25-13: Voted to restore $60,000 to the County Extension Service FY 2013-14 budget.
9-16-14: Voted to approve a generous union contract with county security officers. The county pays 93% of health care premiums for these employees and 85% for an employee spouse and dependent. It pays 82% of the premium for employee dental coverage, 80% for employee and one dependent. These employees are eligible for early retirement benefits at age 50 with 10 yrs. of service. They received 3% pay hikes for 2015 and 2016, above the inflation rate.

2-12-13: Voted to oppose lowering county inheritance tax rates.
7-9-13: Voted to adopt the FY 2013-14 budget that raised property taxes.
7-30-13: Voted to hike the 911 surcharge by 50c per month in Douglas County.
9-17-13: Voted again to approve the FY 2013-2014 county budget higher tax rate.
10-8-13: Voted to oppose ending the county inheritance tax, which increasingly targets middle class citizens.

1-8-13: Voted to support implementation of Obama Care Medicaid expansion in NE.
2-5-13: Voted to support extending Medicaid Obama Care health care coverage to additional Nebraskans.
10-8-13: Voted to support a bill to expand Medicaid to additional people, including illegal aliens.
2-10-15: Voted to oppose a voter ID bill to prevent illegal aliens from voting in NE elections.
2-26-13: Voted to oppose requiring voters to show photo ID at the polls, to protect against voter fraud, especially by illegal aliens.
4-14-15: Voted to support a bill that gave drivers licenses to illegal aliens amnestied by the Obama Administration.
4-14-15: Voted to join the Heartland 2050 plan based on a UN Agenda 21 template for inter-county projects.
6-23-15: Voted to allocate Visitor Improvement Funds to private community groups, an unnecessary expenditure.
8-4-15: Voted to approve a contribution to partially fund MAPA staff for Heartland 2050 UN Agenda 21 project.
1-26-16: Declined to vote against a 31% pay increase for county board members when board reconsidered this raise.

Commissioner Kraft is up for re-election in 2016. Taxpayers in District 5 have an opportunity to throw him out in the 2016 primary election and replace him with a fiscal conservative. Volunteer now for one of his conservative opponents! Kraftm1.doc. 3-16.
